Families often arrive here feeling overwhelmed, worried, and unsure, wondering why their child is struggling and whether they are getting it wrong. If this is you, please know you’re not alone.

When a child is having a hard time, their behaviour is not a problem to fix, but communication. Children do the best they can with the skills, development, and nervous system they have, and they look to the adults around them for safety, connection, and understanding.

At Inspiring Play, support is offered through Play Therapy for children aged 2–8, providing a respectful, child-led space to express themselves through play, and through the Inspiring Play Parent Education & Coaching Program, which supports parents to better understand their child, strengthen connection, and build confidence in their parenting role.
